Minimum wage in The United States

Just when it seems the slate of extremist Republican candidates can't get any more ridiculous , now a number of "tea" party style reactionaries are voicing their opinion the minimum wage laws in The United States should be abolished.

The first to go public with this latest piece of the radical Republican Agenda to drive working Americans even further down was Vince McMahon's wife Linda McMahon, who is a former CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment, and is the Republican candidate for U.S. Senator from Connecticut.

As of 2009, The Federal minimum wage in The United States is $7.25 per hour. Is this too much ? The Bill which increased The Minimum Wage also included nearly $5 billion in tax cuts for small businesses. Wouldn't that be more than enough to cover the cost of pay "increases" for America's low income workers accrued by "small" businesses ?

These millionaires don't want to pay their fair share in taxes, and now they don't want to pay their employees either ! Is this what "trickle" down economics is ? Is this what Ronald Reagan meant by standing up for the "little" guy ? Could these people be any more despicable ?!
