2014 FLORIDA GOVERNORS RACE

Richard Lynn "Rick" Scott became The 45th Governor of Florida on January 4, 2011. Scott was a partner with George W. Bush as co-owner of The Texas Rangers. Scott is the former Chairman & CEO  of  Columbia/HCA  Health Care Corporation. Columbia/HCA  offered doctors "incentives" Federal investigators determined to be "kick-backs". Columbia/HCA pled guilty to 14 felonies and agreed to a $600+ million fine in the largest fraud settlement in U.S. history. Meanwhile, Scott began his political career as a "Tea" Party backed anti- "Obamacare" crusader. Richard L. Scott Investments has a stake in health care. Rick Scott owns Solantic urgent care center facilities all over Florida. Scott is invested in Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacies, which operates drugstores/pharmacies that offer vitamins, herbal medicine, skin products, homeopathic medicines, and prescriptions. Scott signed a bill requiring those seeking 'welfare' under The Federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program to submit to drug screenings to be conducted by his own medical labs.The U.S. Supreme Court rejected Florida Gov. Rick Scott's petition to review a ruling that his random drug testing policy was unconstitutional. Scott announced as early as 2011 he'd be running for re- election as a Republican. 

The Republican Candidate Rick Scott is being opposed by The Democratic Candidate Charles Joseph "Charlie" Crist, Jr. Crist was The Governor of Florida from 2007 - 2011. Crist also served as The Attorney General in Florida. Crist supported President Obama's fiscal policies amid criticism. Crist is an environmental advocate who upsets "Big Sugar" corporate interests in the state. Crist supports strict air pollution standards and aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Crist supports the proposal to allow Medical Marijuana in the state of Florida. Rick Scott opposes it. 

The Intellectual Depth Of The Tea Party

The phenomenon in The United States of America known as The Tea Party is a disingenuous "grassroots" movement established by former Republican Congressman Ron Paul of Texas which gained traction nationally in the immediate aftermath of the election of Barack "Hussein" Obama. The "Tea Party" Headquarters is located in Houston, Texas, which happens to be the world's largest petrochemical complex. The city of Houston is the corporate headquarters of ConocoPhillips, Halliburton, and The Marathon Oil Corporation. The economy in Houston, Texas is based on Oil, for-profit Health Care facilities, and Wal-Mart.

Many prominent Republican politicians are associated with The Tea Party, including Allen West, Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan, Ted Yoho, Herman Cain, Rand Paul, Michele Bachmann, Sarah Palin, Gary Johnson, Pat Toomey, Jim DeMint, Ted Cruz, Louie Gohmert, Lamar Smith, Eric Cantor, Rick Perry, Nikki Haley, Rick Snyder, Paul LePage, Tom Corbett, and Rick Scott. While claiming to be "anti- Establishment", these Tea Party politicians work to protect the corporate interests of The Establishment. 

The "Tea Party" Intelligentsia is provided by the Washington D.C. lobbying group FreedomWorks which was established and is funded by David H. Koch. Americans For Prosperity is a subsidiary of FreedomWorks founded by David H. Koch and Charles Koch of Koch Industries to "educate" and "mobilize" American citizens into promoting the corporate agenda. Somehow Americans For Prosperity gets away with classifying itself as a "non-political" 501(c)(4) organization. 

The Tea Party "Patriots" are shock troops dispatched to public events to intimidate and threaten Americans opposed to The Corporate "Tea Party" Agenda by brandishing firearms. While the upper echelon of The Tea Party is fully aware of the true nature of the organization, sadly, many Americans, especially in rural areas and in The American South, have been duped by The Tea Party's "anti-establishment" masquerade. The unifying force behind The Tea Party is its advocacy of gun rights, opposition to The Democratic Party, hatred of President Obama, and opposition to taxation (mostly at The Federal level). It is ironic that Tea Party Minions support politicians who serve the interests of  financiers and the corporate elite they claim to despise.
